The Department of Green Chemical Technology formerly known as Department of Chemical Engineering and Environment began its activities since the establishment of IROST.
The department currently includes 7 faculty members with assistant and associate professor ranking.
The primary missions of this department are conducting research, pilot and industrial projects in various fields of chemical engineering. Some of these researches include:

Feasibility study and design of industrial wastewater treatment and reuse units of petrochemical, oil and gas, textile, pharmaceutical and food industries
