IROST’s President: Research Week is an Opportunity to Rethink Pathways to Knowledge Creation and Technology Transfer
Professor Alireza Ashori, President of the Iranian Research Organization for Science and Technology (IROST), in his message congratulating faculty members, researchers, technologists, managers, and collaborating knowledge-based companies at IROST, stated:
“This week serves as a reminder of the foundational role of IROST in national development and advancing a knowledge-based economy. Further, the linkage between purposeful research, technology development, and the creation of sustainable value for industry and society has become evident this year, more than ever. Fortunately, IROST benefits from the synergy among its specialized research departments, broad collaborations between its Science and Technology Park and technology-based companies, and the growing capacities of the Institute for New Technologies. These two pillars can accelerate the journey from frontier ideas to strategic technologies and competitive products, elevating IROST’s position on the country’s innovation landscape. I hope that, through continued collaboration, strengthened organizational solidarity, and a focus on transformative projects, we can take a bigger step toward realizing IROST’s national and international missions and make the coming year a year of significant scientific, technological, and industrial achievements.”
