First place in Startup Business Earned by IROST Researcher at the Young Thinkers and Scientists Festival
On December 17, 2025, the closing ceremony of the 9th edition of the "Young Thinkers and Scientists Festival" was held at the University of Tehran, and was attended by the Minister of Science, Research and Technology, His Excellency Prof. Hossein Simaei, and numerous Iranian officials. Recognized as one of Iran’s reputable scientific events, the festival annually identifies, supports, and empowers the nation’s young scientific talent.
At the ceremony, Dr. Majid Haji Hosseinali, a faculty member in the Mechanical Engineering Research Department at the Iranian Research Organization for Science and Technology (IROST), won first place in the Startup Business category. His winning proposal focused on the design and fabrication of anchor implants for the jaw, face, and skull, earning the top prize in this edition. This achievement underscores the high capacity of Iranian young researchers, especially those at leading research institutions like IROST, to address pressing scientific and technological needs.
