Appointment of Dr. Sara Mirzaei as the Head of IROST’s Library and Publications
Professor Alireza Ashori, President of the Iranian Research Organization for Science and Technology (IROST), announced the appointment of Dr. Sara Mirzaei as the new Head of IROST’s Library and Publications. In this role, Dr. Mirzaei will lead efforts to elevate IROST’s information services, publications, and scholarly impact.
Key responsibilities include:
-- Planning, organizing, and supervising library services and scientific information to support IROST’s research, education, and technology missions.
-- Establishing a comprehensive data and resource management system, including research databases, to ensure easy access to reliable domestic and international sources for faculty and researchers.
-- Planning and overseeing IROST’s scientific publications, reports, and books, in line with publishing standards and regulatory requirements from the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology.
-- Driving proactive development of scientific indicators and institute rankings, with a focus on strengthening IROST’s standing in national evaluation and ranking systems.
-- Fostering collaboration with other departments to enhance scientific synergy, publication quality, and citation rates for IROST-authored works.
-- Advancing knowledge development in scientometrics and information resource management, including specialized training for researchers.
-- Preparing and submitting periodic performance reports for IROST’s Library and Publications Department.
Dr. Mirzaei ’s leadership is expected to enhance IROST’s research infrastructure, improve access to high-quality resources, and bolster IROST’s visibility and impact in national and international scholarly communities.
