The Iranian Research Organization for Science and Technology (IROST), in collaboration with COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI), is pleased to announce a specialized webinar entitled:
“From Dependence to Self-Sufficiency: An Institutional Model for Sustainable Research Excellence”
The webinar will examine the changing political economy of science and the role of universities and research systems in building technological and economic capabilities. Key discussions will address redefining research excellence beyond publication and citation metrics, the economics of dependence, the architecture of value capture, challenges within innovation systems, capacity-building before infrastructure development, and the role of science and technology in economic development.
