Purpose
The Khwarizmi International Award seeks to recognize the efforts made by researchers, innovators and inventors from the world and to appreciate their achievements in various fields of science and technology.
The Khwarizmi International Award is named in memory of the achievements of Muhammad ibn Musa al-Khwarizmi, the Iranian mathematician and astronomer.

KIA Board
The KIA Board includes Grand Jury which is chaired by the President of IROST . The Grand Jury chooses the Laureates by a majority vote. Its decision is final and without appeal. The results will be communicated by E-mail to the KIA Laureates at the end of the process.
