Peptone from soybean meal 5.0 g.

Peptone from animal tissue (meat) 2.5 g.

Peptone from casein 2.5 g.

(pancreatic digest of casein)

Yeast extract 2.5 g.

Ascorbic acid 0.5 g.

MgSO4 .7H2O 0.25 g.

Distilled water 1000 ml.

pH 7.15 ± 0.05 at 25°C

Add components to distilled/deionized water and bring volume to 1.0 liter. Autoclave for 15 min. at 15 psi pressure 121 °C
