The effect of fibers orientation and diameter on the temperature distribution and the reaction zone of CH4 catalytic combustion in the fibrous medium is investigated. By increasing the axis angle of the fibers, the reaction zone moves toward the inlet of the reactor, and the temperature distribution becomes more non-uniform. Besides, as the diameter of the fibers increases, the reaction site moves toward the end of the reactor and the temperature distribution becomes slightly more uneven.
